Meet the Handy Mama

 

The Handy Mama is the alter-ego of Midwest suburban soccer/football mom Leighann Cooper.  When she’s not absorbed in one of her many home improvement and decorating projects, Cooper works as a free-lance writer.   She resides with three offspring and an annoyed yet understanding husband. With no formal training in decorating she has built a small but mighty list of clients who actually pay her to do what she loves.
She cannot make the same claim regarding carpentry experience, but hopes to one day add home improvement guru to her repertoire. In the mean time, she shares her weekly adventures in remodeling with anyone who will read them.
